DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a talented and experienced Senior Backend Engineer who excels in JavaScript (Node.js) and has solid experience or interest in Python and AI-powered systems, especially Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG). You will help architect and build scalable backend services that support intelligent document search, multimodal data processing, and LLM integration.

• Design and implement backend services using Node.js, TypeScript, and Python.
• Develop APIs and microservices for file upload, document processing, and semantic search.
• Ensure secure access control using RBAC, OAuth2, and JWT.
• Optimize system performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Collaborate with frontend, AI, and DevOps teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.
• Participate in code reviews, technical planning, and mentoring junior engineers.

REQUIREMENTS

• 5+ years of backend development experience.
• English communicate fluently  
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and Node.js
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs, microservices, and cloud platforms (preferably AWS).
• Experience with NoSQL/SQL databases, ETL pipelines, and document handling.
• Knowledge of CI/CD, Docker, and Kubernetes.

Preferred:

• Solid experience with Python, especially in data processing or AI integration.
• Experience with LangChain, LlamaIndex, or similar RAG frameworks.
• Hands-on with Vector DBs and semantic chunking strategies.
• Exposure to multimodal AI (text + image) and output generation (PDF, Excel, PPT).
• Familiarity with DevOps tools and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, Pulumi).
• Contributions to open-source or AI-related projects.
