JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Be responsible for developing the Japanese market for the company’s technology products and services (Software, Web/App, AI, IoT, SaaS, Blockchain, etc.).
  • Identify, approach, and work directly with Japanese clients and partners.
  • Perform the following activities:
    + Present and introduce technology products and solutions.
    + Gather, discuss, and analyze requirements and business needs from Japanese customers.
  • Collaborate closely with the engineering and product teams to:
    + Clarify project scope and technical requirements.
    + Prepare proposals, quotations, and technical documents in Japanese.
  • Participate in contract negotiations and support contract signing and project implementation.
  • Monitor project progress and support customer success during and after project delivery.
  • Build and maintain long-term, win–win relationships with Japanese clients.
  • Report on business performance and the Japanese client pipeline to management.

REQUIREMENT

  • College or Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Information Technology, Japanese Language, Business Administration, or related fields.
  • Japanese language proficiency at N2 level or above (N1 is a strong plus).
  • Good communication skills.
  • Ability to read and write work-related emails and documents in Japanese.
  • Experience in Sales / Business Development / Account Management for the Japanese market is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of or strong interest in technology and software fields.
  • Strong communication and customer-facing skills when working with Japanese clients, with the following qualities:
    + Detail-oriented and careful
    + Responsible and reliable
    + Strong sense of deadlines
  • Logical thinking, proactive attitude, and ability to work under pressure.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with Japanese clients or Japanese companies.
  • Good understanding of Japanese business culture.
  • Willingness and ability to travel to Japan when required.
